The Prime Technology Contractor provides complete transparency and accountability to deliver a full project to a Construction Management Team. Utilizing Ferho services like a design/build will provide risk mitigation, backstop schedule creep, and minimize cost increases.
Elements of the Prime Technology Contractor Process Include:
- Bidding: bid out technology portfolio to subcontractors, vendors, in-house assets and service contractors
- Assemble budgets and schedules: work with GC and PM to integrate timelines and requirements
- Permitting: provide necessary permits, license and bonding and attend safety meetings
- Onboard team: technology subcontractors, vendors and internal resources and provide safety plan
- Order equipment and services: coordinate needs and logistics with General Contractor
- Manage project: PMP-led implementation with internal team, subcontractors and vendors
- Progress reporting: assigned internal PM develops daily logs, captures images, documents milestones and meets with Construction Management and other trades
- Monitor and inspect: ensure overall compliance and safety is kept, provide leadership in gathering information and problem resolution
- Accountability to project: holds subcontractors and vendors accountable to Scope of Work contracts, safety and rules of engagement
- Trim out and final: assure commissioning, testing and system certifications are complete and final punch list is retired, and as-builts received
- Training: assist operations with training, work with operational stakeholders on knowledge transfer
- Certificate of Occupancy: work with stakeholders and supporting teams and assist with soft and grand opening
- Operations plan: compile equipment and systems manuals, warranties and contact information for troubleshooting
- Transition to ownership: secure final sign-off and relationship
